The meeting between Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) MPs and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (August 10, 2026) triggered fresh speculation about a possible shift in the Sharad Pawar-led NCP’s position on delimitation. The party’s working president, Supriya Sule, however, claimed the delegation had discussed issues concerning Maharashtra. “We have discussed Maharashtra issues,” Ms. Sule said after the meeting.
