Dr Vijay Pereira an eminent academic and Leader in Human Capital Development from Portsmouth UK and who was born and studied in Nagpur was invited to give a key note speech at the international conference at University of Jammu (UOJ) The Gandhi Global Family (GGF) honoured him when Padmashri S P Varma Vice President Gandhi Global Family presented him with the Indo-United Nations (UN) Pin at University of Jammu during an event hosted jointly by GGF and UOJ.
Only 100 Indo-UN Pins have been created by the United Nations to be conferred upon those personalities who have contributed to the society in General and the spread of Gandhian Philosophy in particular all over the World.
