CABINET DECISIONS BY MAHARASHTRA GOVERNMENT ON 5th JAN 2016
- Maharashtra Cabinet decides to implement Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM) in the State. This will help transform rural areas to economically, socially and physically sustainable spaces and overall development in the region. These clusters would be developed by provisioning of economic activities, developing skills & local entrepreneurship and providing infrastructure amenities. The Rurban Mission will thus develop a cluster of Smart Villages.
- Maharashtra Cabinet decides to disqualify all such persons from becoming directors again, who are responsible for financial crises of cooperative banks by irregularities or by unlawful acts.
