DEMONETISATION CM Devendra Fadnivis Ji Stands With Common Men

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis calls an urgent meeting of officials at his residence in Mumbai;takes many decisions for citizens’ convenience. CM Devendra Fadnavis directs Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation – MSRTC to allow free transport of 50kg of vegetables per farmer on MSRTC buses till 24th November 16. This is will help farmers reach the consumers’ market with more ease and will also help them get better price for their produce.

CM Devendra Fadnavis also instructs to extend the exemption of toll tax till 18th November 2016 midnight (including Mumbai). Service charges at border check posts are also exempted (for penalties & pending dues, older ₹500 & ₹1000 notes would be accepted).

CM Devendra Fadnavis asked Education Dept to issue instructions to Universities to accept exam, tuition, etc fees by cheque instead of DD/pay order. Instructions also are issued to MSBTE for polytechnic colleges to accept cheque towards fees instead of DD/pay order for students’ convenience. It was informed in the meeting that Govt has held discussions with school bus operators & they agreed to cooperate with officials. CM asks banks to arrange mobile vans in cities & interior areas of State, so that old notes can be easily exchanged in permissible limits.
