Premier screening of the award winning cinematic marvel film “Sri Siddhartha Gautama’s”

Nagpur: On the occasion of 59th Dhamma Mahotsav in Nagpur, the award winning cinematic marvel film “Sri Siddhartha Gautama’s” premier screening was organised for prominent personalities on Friday at Inox Jaswant Tuli Mall, Kamptee road in Nagpur.

On this premier show well-known personalities in politics including  Ramdas Aathwale, (Member of Rajya Sabha and National President of Republican Party of India), Smt. Adv. Sulekha Tai Kumbhare (former Minister of Maharashtra State and Founder President, Ogawa Society, Nagpur India), Raj Kumar Badole (Social and Welfare Minister from State of Maharashtra), MLA Milind Mane, Nitin Gajbhiye (President of the Buddha Spiritual Park, Nagpur) and Gagan Malik (Lead star of Sri Siddhartha Gautama) and many other prominent personalities attended this premier show.

Talking with media-persons during this premier, Gagan Malik, the lead star of the epic motion picture ‘Sri Siddhartha Gautama’ said that, “It is so unfortunate that what the Son of India, Lord Buddha, gave to the world was lost but I want to work towards finding it back for India,”. Asked what inspired him to become a Buddhist, Gagan replied with a smile that “the list is very long, but in short it is the most practical, most beautiful and the purest way to live in the world.”

Applauding Gagan for his mettle, Navin Goonerane said that Gagan is a promising ambassador for Buddhism not just between the two countries but internationally as well. “I was looking for an actor who would do justice to the role in the film for nearly two years and now that I finally found Gagan, we will keep on going, for there is so much that could be done with his good will.”
